Invoices · part of the Echelon plan

The quote they said yes to becomes the invoice. One tap.

Job's done. Open the quote, tap convert, and the invoice is already written: every line item carried across, the wording rewritten into past tense, waiting as a draft for anything that changed on site. No retyping, no spreadsheet, no chasing.

Quote to invoice.

You already wrote this invoice. You just didn't know it.

The quote you sent from the driveway has every line item, price, and tax the customer already agreed to. Converting it is the whole job.

01

Open the quote they said yes to.

The accepted quote is already in Echelon, with the line items, the prices, and the customer attached. You don't go looking for a blank invoice form.

02

Tap Convert.

One tap. Every line item, quantity, price, discount, and tax carries across exactly as the customer agreed to it. Nothing gets retyped, so nothing gets mistyped.

03

It rewrites itself into past tense.

"We'll install the gate" becomes "we installed the gate." It reads like a record of work done, not a recycled quote with a new title. Your prices and your customer's details are never routed through the AI.

04

Adjust what changed, then send.

It lands as a draft. Add the extra material, drop the line you didn't do, attach job photos. Echelon drafts the send email, you review, it goes.

The math the customer accepted is the math on the invoice. Prices, quantities, totals, taxes, and customer details are copied straight across in code. Only the descriptive wording is rewritten.

Three ways to start.

Not every job started as a quote.

From an accepted quote.

The fast path, and the one most jobs take. One tap, everything carries across, past tense, done.

From a saved template.

For the work you repeat. Save any invoice as a template once, then reuse it for the next driveway, the next unit, the next spring cleanup.

From an invoice you already have.

Bringing work over from a spreadsheet, another app, or a paper pad? Import it and Echelon reads it into a proper invoice with the customer attached.

What's included.

Everything invoicing does in the one plan.

Paid by card or bank.

The invoice carries a payment link. Secure Stripe checkout, and the money lands in your account, not ours. No merchant setup call, no terminal.

E-transfer, cash, and cheques too.

Most trades still get paid the old ways. Record the payment in two taps and the balance due updates. Partial payments are fine.

A live bill, not an attachment.

Your logo, your colors, opened in a browser with the Pay button right there. Same document their quote came on, so they recognize it, and it never gets lost in a downloads folder.

Pre-drafted send emails.

Echelon writes the send email per customer, referencing the actual job. Not a generic "please see attached."

Job photos on the invoice.

Attach the finished work to the bill. Nothing shortens a payment argument like the before and after sitting right there.

Recurring invoices.

Maintenance plans, seasonal contracts, monthly service accounts. Mark it recurring and Echelon reissues it on schedule without you.

Overdue gets chased for you.

An invoice quiet for two weeks doesn't stay quiet. The Command Center drafts the nudge in your voice and waits on your tap.

One workbook, three states.

Draft, Quote Sent, Invoice Sent. You always know what's outstanding and who still owes you money.

Unlimited invoices.

No cap, no per-invoice fee, no per-seat fee. The bill doesn't move when you get busy.

Invoicing FAQ.

Questions owners actually ask.

Can I turn a quote into an invoice?

Yes, and it's one tap. Open the accepted quote, tap Convert, and Echelon builds the invoice from it. Every line item, quantity, price, discount, and tax carries across exactly as the customer agreed to it. The wording is rewritten from future to past tense, so "we'll install the gate" becomes "we installed the gate." It lands as a draft so you can adjust anything that changed on site before it goes.

What if the job changed after the quote?

Adjust it. The converted invoice is a normal editable draft: add the extra material, drop the line you didn't do, change a price. Nothing sends until you review it and hit send.

Does the AI touch my prices?

No. Prices, quantities, totals, taxes, and your customer's details are copied straight across in code. Only the descriptive wording is rewritten. The math your customer accepted is the math on the invoice.

How do customers pay?

The invoice email includes a link to a payment page where they can pay by card or bank through secure Stripe checkout, and the money goes straight to your account, not ours. If they'd rather pay by e-transfer, cash, or cheque, you record it in two taps and the balance updates.

Can I invoice a job I never quoted?

Yes. Start an invoice from scratch, from a saved template for work you repeat, or by importing an existing invoice you already have. The quote convert is the fast path, not the only one.

What about the customers I bill every month?

Mark an invoice as recurring and Echelon reissues it on schedule. Maintenance plans, seasonal contracts, and monthly service accounts stop being something you remember to do.

Who chases the ones that don't get paid?

Echelon does. When an invoice goes quiet, the Command Center notices and drafts the follow-up in your voice. It waits on your tap. Nothing reaches a customer until you approve it.

What does invoicing cost?

Nothing extra. Invoicing is part of the one Echelon plan at $299/mo CAD (same in USD), with unlimited quotes and invoices, no per-seat fees, cancel anytime. 14-day free trial, no credit card.
